Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
This policy explains what happens to data when you visit newreleases.online.
What we do not collect
We do not ask you for anything. There is no account to create, no newsletter to sign up for, no contact form, and comments are closed. We do not sell, rent, or trade information about you, and we never have.
What is collected automatically
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information on every visit: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time. This is ordinary web hosting practice, used to keep the site running and secure.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how people find the site. It sets cookies and collects information such as approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, the site that referred you, and the pages you viewed. We read this in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with anything else. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Advertising. We run paid advertising campaigns that link to pages on this site. When you arrive from one of our ads, the advertising platform may add parameters to the address and set cookies so the campaign can be measured. This tells us that an ad led to a visit. It does not tell us who you are.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the merchant or their affiliate network sets a cookie so that a resulting purchase can be credited to us. That cookie is set by them, not by us, and it is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. How affiliate relationships work here is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure.
Cookies
The cookies on this site come from three places: Google Analytics, advertising platforms when you arrive from one of our ads, and affiliate networks when you click an affiliate link. We do not set advertising or profiling cookies of our own.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal data relating to you, and to object to its processing. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information.
Because we collect nothing directly and do not maintain accounts, we usually hold no data that identifies you. Requests about analytics or advertising data may need to be made to Google directly, and we will tell you so rather than leave you waiting.
To make a request, write to contact@newreleases.online.
Retention
We keep no data ourselves. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider under their standard retention period. Analytics data is retained by Google under the retention setting configured in the account.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made silently.
