New Releases earns money through affiliate commissions.

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the producer or the platform they sell through. This costs you nothing — your price is the same either way.

Here is what that changes, and what it does not.

It does not decide what we cover. Launches are selected using the editorial criteria published on this site. Whether a product has an affiliate program, and how much it pays, is not one of those criteria and never has been.

It does not decide what we say. When a launch has problems, we say so — affiliate link or not.

Producers cannot buy coverage. We do not sell placements, sponsored posts, or promotional packages. That has not changed.

We promote through more than one channel. Editorial coverage on this site is one of them. We also run paid advertising campaigns that send traffic to our own pages. Producers working with us should assume both. Where a producer’s affiliate terms restrict paid traffic, we promote that launch through editorial coverage only.
